I only found flights to Thbilisi in the night time. I have no friends there so I’m bit confused what can I do after arrival.

• How to get to the hotel, how far is downtown?
• Do the hotels work at night?
• Is it dangerous in the airport and on the road to downtown?
• How much does it normally cost by taxi and do they try to rip me off?

Tbilisi downtown is 20 minutes drive from the airport. Yes, hotels do work at night. We just asked taxi driver to take us to the center, but then they also helped to find a hotel. Tbilisi hotels are quite expensive, we payed 70$ for 2 persons, but you can also find cheaper options.
In the airport it is not dangerous, although taxi drivers might sem a bit too pushy.
Official taxi rate from airport to center was 25 lari (~15$) last year, unofficial taxis usually try to charge more.
