There is possibility to change your euros and dollars in kazbegi – in one resturant (go right on the Y crossing on the main square, then after ca 100 m there is a ground floor building with three doors – two shops and small restaurant where is possible to change). However this is unofficial. The exchange rate was almost the same asi in tbilisi, Only problem was if they don´t have georgian laris, so it was better to go there in the evening, when they have enough.

Well, there are taxis just next to the airport, but the cost will be probably higher. If you don´t want to use standard marchrutka (from Didube station, cost 8 Lari, I guess the first in the morning will go at 7 o´clock), then it is possible to arrange it before – maybe it would be better to ask someone in Kazbegi than from Tbilisi. Contacts must give someone else, we have choosen the marchrutka way:-)

Definetely, it is possible to buy everything in Kazbegi, although there is no supermarket, but thera are few smaller shops, where you can buy everything, what you´ll need.
